About the role

Salary - $150k - $170k + Commission + Benefits Mission, BC | Full-Time | On-Site Our client, a well-established and growing BC-based building materials supplier, is seeking a Sales Manager - Contractor Division to lead and strengthen its contractor sales team in the Fraser Valley.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a performance-driven sales professional who understands residential construction, thrives on accountability, and is passionate about developing high-performing teams.

The Role The Sales Manager Will

  • Provide direct leadership, coaching, and mentorship to Inside and Outside Contractor Sales representatives
  • Drive a disciplined sales management structure including pipeline reviews, goal setting, and KPI tracking
  • Hold the team accountable to revenue targets, margin performance, and customer growth
  • Lead regular one-on-ones and sales meetings focused on strategy, execution, and development
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance across assigned accounts
  • Oversee margin management, special orders, returns, and A/R accountability
  • Strengthen relationships with key contractors and supplier partners
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure service excellence

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of progressive sales experience within building materials or residential construction
  • Proven experience leading or supervising a sales team
  • Strong sales management capability including performance coaching and KPI execution
  • Financial acumen with the ability to manage margins and profitability
  • Clear communicator with a transparent, accountable leadership style
