Description
The Manager of Corporate Education is a strategic leadership role at Serefin, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer and working in close collaboration with the Vice President of Serefin Health. This position plays a critical part in shaping and driving Serefin’s educational strategy to support workforce development and organizational excellence.
The Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing impactful corporate education programs that build employee capacity and advance Serefin’s mission. This role reflects Serefin’s commitment to a learning culture and positions education as a key enabler of organizational success.
Scope of Role:
Leadership
- Provide visionary leadership in the development of corporate education initiatives aligned with Serefin's strategic goals and workforce development needs.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, educational best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of corporate education.
- Develop a comprehensive education strategy that includes learning objectives, curriculum development, delivery methods, and evaluation mechanisms.
- Define key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness and impact of educational programs.
Planning & Development
- Collaborate with leadership and Learning Specialists to identify learning needs across Serefin.
- Oversee the design and development of learning materials, workshops, and other educational resources.
- Partner with subject matter experts and Learning Specialists to ensure content relevance and accuracy of corporate programs.
- In collaboration with the Digital Learning Design Manager, support the development of our Learning Management System (LMS) to facilitate education program delivery.
Team Development & Support
- Support the recruitment, training, and mentorship of instructors, facilitators, and Learning Specialists.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovative teaching among Learning Specialists.
Program Implementation
- Coordinate and deliver key educational programs through various mediums, such as in-person training, virtual classrooms, e-learning, and blended learning approaches.
Evaluation & Support
- Monitor and evaluate the quality and impact of educational offerings and make necessary adjustments.
- Support the development and administration of assessment tools and methodologies to measure education programs. Use data and feedback to make data-driven decisions for program enhancement.
Collaboration & Alignment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, department heads, and executives, to align education initiatives with organizational goals.
- Foster strong relationships with external partners, including educational institutions and vendors, to enhance the educational offerings.
Broader Organizational Contribution
- Support the organization's operational and educational goals, including other aspects of the business.

Fostering a culture of continuous learning by designing and managing a robust portfolio of professional development offerings that enable staff to grow their skills, stay current, and thrive in their roles.

Collaborating with Learning Specialists across Serefin to develop relevant, engaging, and accurate learning content and curricula that meet organizational and learner needs.

Partnering with the Digital Learning Design Manager to manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and other digital education tools, ensuring seamless delivery and learner accessibility.

Leading the evaluation of education programs through the development of effective assessment frameworks, enabling continuous quality improvement through data-informed decision-making and impact measurement.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

A master’s degree in education or a related discipline is preferred, although equivalent leadership experience will also be considered.

A minimum of 3 years in formal leadership positions is required, with a strong focus on education management.

Experience working in a teaching environment, or in a health center setting is highly desirable.

Participation in developing and delivering training in a contact center environment is an asset.

A strong understanding of adult learning theories.

Demonstrated experience in successfully establishing new programs, services, or departments within complex, integrated, and collaborative environments.

Strong project management skills.

Well-developed leadership skills to lead teams, make decisions, and drive organizational success.
