Your contribution!
The Technician - Document Management is responsible for managing, organizing, storing, and distributing paper and digital documents and company information. Their role is to ensure that document standards and procedures are applied correctly in order to guarantee the accessibility, reliability, and security of information resources.
Your day-to-day!
- Participate in the implementation of document management and personal information protection policies.
- Ensure comprehensive tracking of the life cycle of paper and digital documents and participate in the processes of filing and destruction.
- Classify, index, and store paper and digital documents according to established standards.
- Perform physical and intellectual processing of documents (metadata, coding, migration, quality control).
- Promote best practices in document management.
- Train users on the policies, tools, and systems administered by the document management team (corporate document management system, electronic signature, secure sharing platform, etc.).
- Perform any other tasks related to document management.
Your skills, our requirements!
- Between 3 and 5 years of experience.
- DEC in documentation techniques or equivalent.
- Certificate in records and archives management or equivalent.
- Knowledge of document management and archiving standards.
- Proficiency in electronic document management (EDM) tools.
- Organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.
- Analytical skills, rigor, and attention to detail.
- Approach focused on the needs of internal customers.
- Discretion and compliance with confidentiality rules.
- Knowledge of M-Files is an asset.
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory frameworks (GDPR, Law 25, CCPA, etc.) is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Proficiency in document management software tools.
- Bilingualism (French and English, both spoken and written) required to ensure collaboration with various stakeholders outside Quebec on a recurring basis.
Additional considerations!
- The position is based at the company's head office in Longueuil, steps away from the Longueuil-Université de Sherbrooke metro station.
- This position is an S2 level.
- Temporary part-time status - 22.5 hours per week (3 days at 7.5 hours).
- 12-month contract.
