Collections Clerk - Contract - 18514
About The Opportunity Our nationally recognized client located in the Mississauga region of the GTA is looking for a Collections Clerk to join their growing team on Contract basis, with a potential for extension.
This role will work closely with the AR Team within an organization that offers a supportive, collaborative work culture.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Identify outstanding debts, daily monitoring of past-due accounts
- Conduct collection calls and ensure timely payment of past-due accounts
- Resolve any client billing issues
- Negotiating payment plans tailored to specific needs of accounts
- Update account status records, processing of and application of payments
- Analysis of aging reports
- Provide updates on Collections and Credit statuses to upper management
- Responding to inquiries by phone and email
- Providing additional administrative support as needed
About You The successful candidate will have the following:
- Strong comprehension as well as oral and written communication skills in English
- 1+ years of previous experience in a similar role
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, collaborative
