Project Engineering Specialist - Noise Control Key Purpose Of The Function

• Provide technical support to internal and external customers to facilitate the specification and sale of the relevant products, including guidance on application, performance, troubleshooting, competitiveness, sales and pricing of product and services.
• Support Price’s sales team with product recommendations related to the Noise Control Product Line.
• Assist the engineering design team on special requests.

The Successful Candidate's Responsibilities Will Include

• The primary responsibility of this position is to provide the best technical support in the industry to external and internal customers. Responsibilities including:

• Selection and layout of products and accessories.

• Provision of performance data, specifications, literature, etc. to support noise control product sales.

• Guidance on product competitiveness.

• Quoting special product.

• Go to resource for Acoustic Analysis in overflow system

• Project management of external and internal requests

• Manage Overflow and general requests

• Ensure all custom requests are acknowledged within the first 6 hours.

• Manage workload with a sense of urgency.

Requirements

• A College Diploma or University Degree in Mechanical, or Certified Engineering Technologist. Experience in Vibrations & Acoustics is considered an asset.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organization skills, with an eye for detail.
• Self-motivated and demonstrates the ability to take initiative.
• Aptitude and desire for customer service excellence.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment to meet timeline-dependent deliverables.
• A basic understanding of HVAC, controls and mechanical systems would be an asset.
