In this role, you will take ownership of complex technical initiatives, contributing to the development and optimization of software products that serve tens of thousands of daily active users. You will work across frontend and backend systems, leveraging technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, and AWS, while ensuring high performance and reliability. This position involves collaborating with multiple teams to align technical direction, implement robust solutions, and integrate analytics, authentication, and ad tech systems. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to gaming-related projects, optimizing desktop and web applications, and experimenting with AI/ML-powered tools to enhance the user experience. Accountabilities:

·        Lead and deliver complex software projects across web and desktop platforms, ensuring scalability and reliability.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide technical direction, design solutions, and implement features.

·        Optimize application performance, memory usage, and multi-platform builds for a seamless user experience.

·        Integrate analytics, authentication, and ad tech systems while maintaining compliance and performance standards.

·        Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and release management processes.

·        Mentor team members and share best practices for software design and development.

Requirements

·        5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a senior or technical lead role.

·        Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Tailwind, and Node.js.

·        Hands-on experience with AWS, databases, and GraphQL.

·        Solid understanding of desktop performance optimization, memory profiling, and multi-platform builds.

·        Experience integrating analytics, ad tech, and authentication systems.

·        Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management.

·        Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to guide technical teams effectively.

·        Passion for gaming and esports, and building tools that enhance the player experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Experience with Electron, Elixir, or native overlays in progressive web applications.

·        Experience integrating ad tech in hybrid or desktop apps while ensuring performance and compliance.

·        Familiarity with AI/ML APIs or models to enhance web or app functionality.

·        Passion for games like League of Legends, World of Warcraft, Diablo, or Deadlock, and familiarity with gaming ecosystems.
