Role Description The Sales Associate is a part-time, on-site role based at Noble Ridge Vineyard & Winery in Okanagan Falls, BC. The person in this position will greet guests, guide them through tastings, and provide information about the winery’s history, vineyards, and wines. Daily responsibilities include processing sales transactions, promoting wine club memberships, restocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean, organized tasting room and retail space. The role also involves assisting with events, supporting inventory management, and ensuring every visitor receives attentive, knowledgeable service. The Sales Associate works closely with the hospitality and winemaking teams to deliver an exceptional and consistent guest experience.
Qualifications Customer service and retail sales skills, with the ability to engage visitors and build positive relationships. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication and active listening. Basic cash handling and POS system experience, with attention to accuracy and detail. Interest in wine, vineyards, or hospitality; prior winery or tourism experience is an asset. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move cases of wine as needed, and work on-site in varying weather conditions. Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working weekends, holidays, and peak tourism seasons. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality, tourism, or sales is beneficial.
