The Role

As a part of Cameco’s Human Resources department, you will be a subject matter expert responsible for disability case-management on a permanent full-time basis.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide coaching and direction on Cameco’s disability management program and processes, as well as support Cameco’s health, wellness, and accommodation programs.

  • Ensure the timely and consistent administration of disability-related absences.

  • Support the development and management of return-to-work plans.

  • Coordinate with employees, supervisors, and site nurses, along with external healthcare providers and benefit vendors.

  • Build positive relationships with a broad range of individuals to support disability-related inquiries.

  • Effectively use technology tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and employee database systems.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health-related discipline
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience could be considered
  • Up to three years of relevant experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Recommended:

  • Certified Disability Management Professional (CDMP) designation and/or Certified Return to Work Coordinator (CRTWC) designation

  • SuccessFactors experience

  • Effective organizational and problem-solving skills
