Job Description The Senior RCOE (Reporting Center of Excellence) Analyst plays a critical role in delivering timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting that supports strategic decision‑making. This position is responsible for leading weekly and monthly performance reporting against Plan, analyzing business trends, and developing executive‑ready financial packages. The Senior Analyst acts as a key partner to stakeholders by translating complex financial results into clear insights and by driving a deeper understanding of business performance across the organization.

Forecasting & Planning

  • Lead the development, enhancement, and maintenance of executive‑level financial reporting packages, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strong narrative quality
  • Analyze complex weekly and monthly financial results to identify key drivers, emerging trends, and performance risks, translating findings into clear, actionable insights
  • Partner closely with the BP&A team to support forecasting, planning, and budgeting cycles, ensuring alignment of reporting with business priorities and assumptions
  • Proactively raise concerns or highlight opportunities to management based on evolving financial trends, variances, and performance indicators
  • Synthesize large datasets into compelling stories using visuals and clear explanations that enable decision‑makers to quickly understand business performance
  • Communicate complex financial information to senior and executive leaders with clarity, confidence, and a strong understanding of business context
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, models, and data structures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and insight generation

Practice Maturity

  • Develops, communicates, and maintains requirements for reporting and finance system enhancements; facilitates business support throughout the technical development process.
  • Mentors other department colleagues through formal training and by example.

Requirements

  • Requires 4+ years of related experience in financial / business planning and analysis
  • A general understanding of insurance operations and the implications on financials
  • Experience with financial modelling
  • MS Office Suite with advanced Excel (e.g. Vlookup, IF statements, ISERROR formulas, etc.)
  • Strong business acumen to be able to tie financial results to develop narrative
  • Mathematical acumen
  • Interpersonal, oral, and written communication and presentation skills
  • Research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Organization, multi-tasking, leadership, and time management skills with attention to detail

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of macros and/or Visual Basic (VBA) would be beneficial
  • Financial services and insurance industry knowledge
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and tools (e.g. SAP Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) tool)

Compensation Expected compensation for this role ranges from $ 77,200.00 - 124,075.00 annually. Actual salary offered to successful candidates will vary based on their skills and experience.
