Compensation And Benefits
- Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $22.00 to $24.40+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Then you would love the Employee Housing Foreperson position! You will play an integral role on the frontlines of problem solving in the Housing office located at the EDGE, one of Copper Mountain Employee Housing locations.
The Employee Housing Foreperson is a full-time, 10-month position within the Employee Experience Division. This person is the face of the Employee Housing Team: welcoming new employees and guests when they arrive to move in, assisting & supporting residents with any and all queries that arise, training and working with the Resident Advisors, managing housing payments and accounts, ensuring all housekeeping and maintenance needs are met, maintaining all resident paperwork, planning fun resident events (e.g. movie nights, photo contests, volunteer opportunities), supporting our housekeeping and maintenance staff, and assisting and supporting in any and all Employee Experience (HR) front desk and Gear Up functions as needed.
This is a great position for someone that wants to learn a lot and make a big impact on the day-to-day experiences of a large number of our employees while growing a skill set in Human Resources and Property Management.
Employee Housing Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain the highest levels of customer service at all times, in all interactions with guests, residents, and coworkers.
- Maintain bed allocations based on department and applicant needs.
- Assign roommates based on compatibility criteria listed in resident application.
- Field phone, e-mail, and walk-in inquiries regarding employee housing and temp room accommodation.
- Confirm housing availability with applicants by sending acceptance letters to applicants upon review.
- Book Temp room accommodations for friends and family of Copper employees.
- Conduct move-ins ensuring accurate completion of all paperwork and communicate housing rules, policies, and procedures.
- Follow and enforce all employee housing rules, policies, and procedures.
- Organize and maintain accurate resident files.
- Coordinate all facility needs and work with supervisor to oversee with the maintenance technician and housekeeping team within all Copper Mountain Employee Housing.
- Assist in conducting seasonal room inspections.
- Send out arrears notices and follow up with residents regarding balances on account.
- Clearly review account activity with residents as needed.
- Manage room assignments and room changes through Rent Manager software.
- Communicate professionally with all hiring managers as required.
- Accurately accept, process, and deposit payment from residents in the form of cash, credit cards, and checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Help to set up, clean, and rearrange rooms as needed.
- Assist with housekeeping tasks – setting temp rooms, doing laundry, and preparing rooms for resident arrival.
- Assist supervisor in training and development for the Resident Advisor program.
- Support and promote all Resident Advisor events.
- Participate in the planning, presentation, and execution of Employee Housing Culture sessions.
- Act as primary contact and resource for all residents and guests within Copper Mountain Employee Housing.
- Collaborate and assist in the coordination of group lodging within Copper Mountain Employee Housing.
- Conflict Resolution - Assist in resolving any resident conflicts through professional, courteous, and solution minded actions and behaviors.
- Promote and support building and resort-wide Waste Reduction initiatives.
Employee Experience (HR) Front Desk
- Assist and support the Employee Experience (HR) front desk operations as required.

- Due to the sensitive nature of this position, a criminal background check will be conducted after position is accepted. This background check will be done in accordance with standards enacted under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

- High School Diploma required. Some college work is preferred.

- The ability to promote a fun, animated environment while also maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Effective written and oral communication skills. A desire to be creative and take initiative.

- Be accountable for daily station open/closing: floats, cash-out monies, and closing reports – including taking the time to resolve any over/short closing issues and providing any necessary back-up for daily transactions.
