ABOUT THE TEAM
The Owner plays a key role within the agile GenAI & Digital Workplace team to maximize the value provided by the Technology, Data and Operations (TDO) group to various business lines. The Product Owner collaborates with all TDO teams to deliver innovative tools and services that support the efficiency and productivity of their operations.
Product Owner, GenAI and Digital Workplace is responsible for establishing product roadmaps jointly with their team and the stakeholders of the organization, prioritizing work based on value, facilitating agile ceremonies (sprint planning, demos, backlog refinement sessions, etc.), effectively solving problems, and collaborating with delivery teams to continuously provide added value to the organization and seize untapped opportunities.
Additionally, the Product Owner is responsible for contributing to the success of the GenAI & Digital Workplace team's strategy by staying abreast of advanced artificial intelligence and digital technologies, proactively identifying opportunities for efficiency gains, synergies and operational benefits, and contributing to the skill development strategy and the evolution of the GenAI ecosystem and collaboration across the organization.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As a Product Owner, GenAI and Digital Workplace you’ll:
- Act as the main point of contact and identify client needs in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Ensure the establishment, maintenance, and communication of the product roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders
- Collaborate with the architecture team to follow technology trends and identify high value-added innovation opportunities for PSP
- Document use cases, business cases, and key milestones, including expected benefits
- Track and manage the budget allocated for the team’s initiatives
- Manage, structure, and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with the team and collaborators
- Articulate business needs and their value to the delivery teams during agile sessions, while maintaining a focus on the highest value increments aligned with the product and strategic goals
- Manage client delivery expectations and take steps to meet delivery deadlines in collaboration with other agile teams within TDO
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an agile environment
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in cross-functional digital transformation initiatives, an asset if these initiatives incorporate generative artificial intelligence, automation, and/or machine learning
- Excellent organizational skills and hands-on experience managing product lifecycle stages (e.g., PLC)
- Product owner certification, an asset (e.g., PSPO, etc.)
- Good active listening and communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
