Kinesis Medical Centre is a specialty medical clinic in Calgary, founded by a Team of highly dedicated Physiatrists. We specialize in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, focusing on muscle, nerve and bone health. We diagnose and treat conditions that impact movement, helping patients regain function and mobility. Our team of skilled Physiatrists, therapists, healthcare and administrative professionals is committed to delivering personalized care with every step within our Centre, and we’re looking for a multi-disciplinary Manager, whose enthusiasm, professionalism and skills will not only match our energy but enhance it!
The Role: We are currently looking for a Clinic/Team Manager. This is permanent, full/time position, based (on-site) in our Clinic in Deerfoot City, N.E., Calgary.
The Responsibilities: Manage all administration (MOA’s) Team members and daily clinic operations. Oversee, and improve our Clinic operational processes, to ensure consistency amongst the Team, and quality patient care. Promote a patient-centered environment and facilitate programs and processes that meet their needs. Promote a cooperative working environment among Team members to help the Clinic function as “one”. Review/approve administration Team timesheets and payroll, (PayWorks), and our health and wellness benefits program. Assist with general financial reporting and manage/assist in preparing budgets. Oversee and support compliance and regulatory requirements. Assist with administrative affairs, including the negotiation of vendor contracts, communications of legal matters, management of liability claims, and inventory/supply management. Assist in developing policies and coordinating activities with Human Resources, such as recruitment and selection, onboarding, compensation and benefits trends, training, performance management and reviews. Enhance the public image and recognition of the Clinic’s reputation within our scope of practice, through branding initiatives, social media, community outreach, new business development, and strategic partnerships. Perform other duties as assigned.
What We Need: An undergraduate degree, from an accredited university: Business Administration/Management is preferred, but equivalent credentials with experience in office/clinic management will be considered. General Human Resource experience would be considered an asset. 5+ years of demonstrated experience in successfully managing a dynamic professional services office/healthcare clinic. Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) is required. Knowledge of QuickBooks, PayWorks, (or similar payroll platform) is preferred. Knowledge of any medical practice management system/ERM (I.E. Accuro), would be considered an asset. Exemplary business writing and personal/communication skills are a must.
