Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a world leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major components for landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.
You will perform various painting operations on large landing gear components, specifically:
- prepare and mask the part referring to a drawing of the part
- prepare and apply paint using a spray gun in the paint booth
- place the part in the oven for drying
- inspect the part to ensure compliance with specifications
- complete the appropriate Quality Assurance documentation
- contribute to the continuous improvement of operations and achieving objectives in terms of safety, quality, costs, and on-time deliveries
- perform other finishing operations
Let's Talk About You
- Diploma of Vocational Studies in Bodywork or skill cards as an automotive painter or AEP in industrial painting or aeronautical painting
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a spray painter
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Good manual dexterity
- Basic computer skills
- Attention to detail and rigor
- Sense of priorities
- Autonomy
- Ability to work in a team

Note: Depending on the collective agreement rules, the position may change shifts (evening, night, or weekend)
