The Role:
You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the organization to contribute to the planning,
coordination, and delivery of engaging fundraising initiatives that drive awareness and revenue on a
national scale. The successful candidate brings enthusiasm, positivity, and a strong “can do” attitude,
along with a willingness to learn and contribute meaningfully to the team’s success. This role offers
hands-on experience in fundraising and event management, exposure to donor engagement strategies,
and the opportunity to build practical skills while making a tangible impact.

Our Revenue Development Team:
Our revenue development team is made up of talented fundraising professionals across Canada, in the
areas of major giving, planned giving, events and annual giving, who work closely with our community
of generous loyal donors to turn shared visions, passions and interests into meaningful impact in
fighting the fire of arthritis. We are a nationwide charity with local impact, and the donations from these
individuals makes a difference for people living with arthritis in every province.
Key Accountabilities:
Draft personalized donor thank-you letters and maintain accurate donor records in CRM
system.
Prepare materials for donor meetings, cultivation events, and team presentations.
Research and contact local businesses for silent auction item procurement.
Coordinate auction item collection, delivery, and on-site event logistics support.
Support grant application materials preparation and general fundraising administrative tasks.
Contribute to programs that directly impact Canadians living with arthritis.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Currently studying fundraising management, event or project management, marketing or other
related field.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word and Outlook) and Canva.
- French language skills an asset.
- Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge and/or willingness to learn.
- Experience working in a fast-paced professional office environment an asset.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Proven track record of professionalism when dealing with internal and external clients.
- Access to transportation to be able to attend events as required.
Working Conditions:
- This position is designated to our Toronto office in a hybrid model. This means you will work at
least 2 days a week from our Toronto office and the rest of the days remotely/from home. The
exact days you are required to work from our office will be determined by your supervisor. This
will include in-person meetings, events, retreats and other opportunities to connect and
collaborate.
- 35 hours per week, between Monday and Friday inclusive.
- It is anticipated this 16-week summer contract will last from May 2026 - August 2026
approximately.

and a convenient reduced-fees Group RRSP* scheme.
- Asterisked offerings are not applicable to contracts
The pay rate for this position is $17.60 per hour.
