What can you expect from this position?

Reporting to the Director, Inclusion & Workplace Culture, the Program Manager plays a key role in advancing GTAA’s inclusion and culture strategy. You will design, deliver, and sustain enterprise‑wide programs that promote belonging, equity, and a positive employee experience. This role leads high‑impact initiatives such as mentorship and development programs, leadership engagement forums, cultural and heritage events, and inclusion communications. You will partner closely with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), HR teams, business leaders, and external partners to ensure programs are relevant, measurable, and aligned to GTAA’s values and people strategy.

As Program Manager, Inclusion and Workplace culture, you will:

  • Design and manage mentorship, development, and inclusion programs that support employee growth, representation, and engagement.
  • Lead the planning and delivery of cultural observances, heritage month events, and enterprise inclusion campaigns.
  • Develop and manage communications, digital content, and engagement materials that reinforce workplace culture and belonging.
  • Coordinate leadership engagement sessions, including agenda development, content creation, and follow‑up actions.
  • Partner with Employee Resource Groups to co‑create meaningful programming and amplify employee voice.
  • Support Employment Equity data collection, analysis, reporting, and compliance activities.
  • Build strong partnerships with HR Business Partners and Centres of Expertise to embed inclusion into business practices.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and community partners supporting inclusion initiatives.
  • Represent the Inclusion & Workplace Culture team in cross‑functional and enterprise initiatives.

This is the role for you, if you have:

  • 3+ years of experience in program management, HR, inclusion, workplace culture, employee engagement, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering programs end‑to‑end.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills across diverse groups.
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, and translating insights into action.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • An undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. CHRP/CHRL designation and experience supporting Employment Equity initiatives are considered assets.
  • Ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position.
