There is an opportunity for this to be a full-time teleworking position. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines. Why is this role important? As part of a strategic initiative to modernize our digital ecosystem, we are seeking a passionate Agentic AI Developer, capable of designing and integrating agentic AI-powered features to deliver personalized experiences to our users.

Working closely with product managers, the architect, and the technical manager, your mandate will be to ensure smooth product development within your area of expertise, coordinate the technical efforts required to deliver the requested features, and adhere to the standards, practices, and guidelines established by the development leadership team — such as implementing automated tests and producing documentation.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy autonomous AI agents capable of interacting with various systems and executing complex tasks.

  • Implement advanced Prompt Engineering techniques to optimize AI interactions.
  • Ensure agent interoperability and smooth integration into our application ecosystem.
  • Implement and maintain drift monitoring to detect and correct model performance degradation.
  • Work in an Azure environment, including integration and deployment via Microsoft’s native AI and cloud services.
  • Collaborate with product, UX, and infrastructure teams to align AI solutions with user needs.
  • Ensure quality, performance, and scalability of AI features.
  • Stay actively informed about new approaches in generative and agentic AI.

Required Skills

  • University degree in a relevant field (engineering, computer science, etc.) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript development.
  • At least 5 years of software development experience.
  • Expertise in MCP (Model Context Protocol).
  • Strong understanding of AI concepts, machine learning, and generative AI.
  • Knowledge of AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, etc.) and advanced language models (LLMs).
  • Understanding of event-driven architectures, inter-service communication, and distributed systems.
  • Experience in multi-agent interoperability.
  • Proficiency in debugging and performance optimization in complex environments.
  • Knowledge of drift monitoring methods and continuous performance optimization.
  • Ability to read, produce, and follow software architecture diagrams (UML, sequence diagrams, etc.).
  • Broad general knowledge and strong intellectual curiosity (eager to acquire and develop new knowledge and skills).

Qualities Of a Good Agentic AI Developer

  • Ability to model complex workflows and translate them into autonomous intelligent agents.
  • Sharp sense of prompt optimization and conversational context management.
  • Skill in evaluating and refining AI agent behavior (planning, execution, information retrieval).
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking for evaluating AI-generated results.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and willingness to experiment with innovative approaches.
