About the role

Put your attention to detail, mechanical skills, and meticulousness to work to ensure the quality of our products—that's what you can expect when you join us! You will play a key role in assembling, inspecting, and verifying parts according to plans and production requirements, using appropriate metrology tools and equipment. In this position, you will have the opportunity to :

  • Assemble parts according to plans and/or production models.

  • Inspect each part according to plans using the appropriate tools.

  • Use various appropriate metrology tools (e.g., vernier caliper, micrometer, roughness tester, etc.).

  • Use handling or lifting equipment (heavy parts up to 1,000 lbs)

  • Complete the various quality control forms

  • Ensure parts comply with drawings (repainting, sandblasting, etc.)

  • Keep your workplace clean

  • Comply with 5S

  • Perform any other tasks requested by your immediate supervisor

  • Permanent full-time position -**Shift:**day (Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) -Salary:$33.89/hr

With the following skills and qualities, you'll be successful in this role:

  • Possess a vocational diploma in a field such as welding, machining, mechanics, etc.
  • Very good knowledge of production plans and documents
  • Have passed job-related tests
  • Good physical ability and manual dexterity
  • Knowledge of metrology.
  • Mechanical mind.
  • Able to work at an established production pace.
  • Resourceful, independent, proactive, and skilled communicator

  • Proficiency in reading drawings, machining, and welding symbols.
  • Good knowledge of computer tools (Teams, Excel, Word, Infor).
