Brick House Recovery Centre is a modern, physician-led, private outpatient addiction and mental health treatment program committed to delivering evidence-based, compassionate care. We offer individual therapy, outpatient detox, intensive outpatient programming (IOP), and aftercare, all grounded in a holistic, recovery-oriented approach. We are expanding our interdisciplinary team and are currently hiring for our Calgary location.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Registered Psychologist (Master’s or PhD level) to join our dynamic clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled clinicians passionate about helping individuals with addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Assessment: Conduct intake interviews, diagnostic evaluations, and psychological assessments (for psychologists). Individual Therapy: Deliver one-on-one therapy using evidence-based modalities (i.e., CBT, DBT, ACT, Trauma-informed approaches). Treatment Planning: Develop and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the client and interdisciplinary team. Collaboration: Participate in case discussions and coordinate care with physicians, nurses, addiction counsellors, and other providers. Documentation: Maintain thorough and confidential clinical records in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards. Professional Development: Engage in ongoing learning and skill enhancement through our Brick House psychoeducation series and case conferences. EFAP Services: Opportunity to participate in developing and providing Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP) services for diverse employers.

Qualifications
Psychologist Applicants: Master’s or PhD in Clinical or Counselling Psychology; registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists. Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (addiction/concurrent disorders preferred). Strong understanding of evidence-based treatments for substance use and mental health conditions. Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Compensation
Independent Contractor Role: Competitive split in billings. Opportunities for expanded clinical roles, including group programming if desired. Administrative and referral support provided.
