**The Shift Pattern For This Post ArePost 1: 37 hours per weekPost 2: 25.9 hours per week****Please be advised that, effective 1 April 2026, the full-time working hours for all Agenda for Change posts will be reduced to 36 hours.****Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.**An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 3 Health Care Support Worker to join our busy Endoscopy Unit at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

The Endoscopy Unit provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic, therapeutic, and acute upper and lower endoscopic procedures for both in-patients and out-patients. We work closely with the specialties of Gastroenterology, Colorectal Surgery, and Upper GI Surgery to deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care.

As part of our skilled and dedicated multidisciplinary team, the post holder will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care, supporting patients throughout their endoscopic journey. You will also play a key role in maintaining high clinical standards through participation in audit, risk management, and evidence-based practice.

Experience within Gastroenterology, Surgery and/or Endoscopy is desirable for this role.
