About the role
As Senior Paid Search Strategist, you'll be at the forefront of optimizing high-performance advertising campaigns, driving measurable ROI, and crafting data-driven paid search strategies. Your passion for paid media and analytical expertise will enable you to elevate marketing performance and deliver exceptional results for world-class brands we work with. You understand that effective paid search is about precision targeting, strategic budget allocation, and continuous optimization—ensuring every dollar spent maximizes conversions and business impact. With your analytical skills and attention to detail, you excel at analyzing campaign data and providing actionable recommendations to improve advertising efficiency and drive revenue growth. Collaboration is second nature to you, as you work seamlessly across disciplines and agency partners to execute integrated paid search initiatives and achieve ambitious performance targets.
You will:
- Develop, execute, and optimize comprehensive paid search strategies for global brands across multiple platforms (Google Ads, Bing, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Manage campaign budgets, bids, and implement real-time optimizations to achieve performance targets and maximize ROI
- Define success metrics and KPIs, translating paid search performance into clear business objectives and revenue impact
- Deliver strategic insights through compelling reports, competitive analyses, and recommendations to drive campaign performance
- Develop and execute keyword strategies, ad copy testing, landing page optimization, and audience targeting approaches
- Identify new paid search opportunities and pitch recommendations to stakeholders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (creative, copy, design, analytics) and agency partners to optimize campaigns and drive integrated initiatives
- Communicate paid search performance and strategic recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders
- Mentor and train junior paid search specialists, expanding your leadership capabilities
- Stay current on platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging advertising opportunities to drive competitive advantage
You have:
- 5+ years of paid search experience managing Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other major platforms at scale, with proven ROI improvements
- Strong data analytics skills and proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEM Rush, Screaming Frog, and similar tools
- Expert-level understanding of paid search platform capabilities, bid management strategies, and industry best practices
- Strong presentation and data storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives for diverse audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to lead client calls and present recommendations
- Strong Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, vlook-ups, and comfort working with large datasets
- Experience defining, documenting, and implementing standardized processes for campaign management and optimization
- Track record of identifying underperforming campaigns and developing successful improvement strategies with measurable results
- Passion for staying current with digital trends and emerging advertising tools and channels
- Experience managing and training junior specialists, or familiarity with AI-powered bidding and automation tools (ideal, but not required)
