We are currently seeking a full time Warehouse Associate to join our team in Burnaby.
SCHEDULE
Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm with flexibility to meet business needs.
Rate of Pay - $20.00 - $24.00/hour to commensurate with experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for the efficient picking, checking, and packing of all customer orders and assembling of homecare kits. Picks and stages all supplies as outlined on the worksheets; scans worksheets prior to picking and labeling of all completed packages. The Warehouse Associate also assists with receiving, and performs other duties such as general housekeeping, inventory checks and quality assurance checks. The work is performed according to set practices and procedures and is of a routine nature.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Excellent organizational skills required with the ability to work well independently under short time constraints
- Strong attention to detail required
- Good English verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with all levels within the organization
- Knowledge of computer applications required
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and able to bend/lift 5-30lbs multiple times throughout entire shift
- Safety shoes required.
SKILLS
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization, internal and external
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and handle fluctuating workloads
- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
- Excellent continuous improvement skills
- Proven ability to adhere to standards & procedures and maintain confidentiality
