Student Operator - Highway Maintenance

Main Responsibilities

  • Upgrade G license to DZ license to support winter and summer operations.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks on highways.
  • Work shift schedules, including on‑call and night shift duties.
  • Commit to a minimum employment term.

Required Qualifications

  • 18 years or older.
  • Possess a minimum G License without restrictions.
  • Able to pass an MTO medical exam (necessary to obtain DZ license).
  • Safety‑oriented with a commitment to quality.
  • Able to perform physically demanding tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preference will be given to applicants living in Wawa, White River, Chapleau, Agawa, Thessalon, and Iron Bridge, Ontario due to the location of this project. Accommodation options are available for those who do not live in the mentioned towns.
