Responsibilities: Operate various assembly and packaging machines, ensure their proper functioning Respect the work instructions, established standard methods and achieving performance objectives Apply quality procedures and policies, perform the required audits, detect non-conformities and take appropriate corrective actions Perform minor adjustments and maintenance on machines to ensure they produce quality parts. Use small portable tools, and other equipment such as compactor, scale, jigger, etc. Participate in job rotation and perform any required tasks as needed (manual assembly or packaging, for example) Apply health, safety & environment procedures and policies and participate in the various related activities Suggest improvements to current processes Communicate effectively with the support team and the previous shift Perform any other related task Qualifications required: Ability to read and interpret the required documents (work orders, parts lists, instructions, quality guidelines, etc.) Ability to use basic IT tools Ability to lift/handle light to medium loads (Max. 30 pounds) Ability to work standing for the duration of the shift Fluency in French and/or English, spoken and written Good dexterity Team spirit, versatility and openness to job rotation in order to achieve operational objectives Work schedule: Sunday to Thursday, from 11:30 PM to 7:10 AM (night shift) Job type: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Health and Dental Insurance Disability Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Employee Stock Ownership Plan Employee Assistance Program Wellness Programs Pension Plan with employer contribution On-site parking and free electric car charging stations Ability to commute or relocate: Pointe-Claire, QC: Commute without issue or plan to relocate before starting the position Employment Equity & Inclusion Statement (Canada) ABB values the dedication, commitment, and expertise of all our employees.
