Overview:

The Healthcare Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment activities across clinical and non-clinical functions at EHN Canada. This role supports recruitment strategy, hiring operations, and candidate experience while ensuring recruitment practices remain compliant, efficient, and aligned with organizational priorities. As a key partner to hiring leaders, HR teammates, and operational stakeholders across the national network, the Healthcare Talent Acquisition Manager plays an important role in connecting people to purpose and supporting the delivery of exceptional healthcare through timely, high-quality hiring outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition Delivery

  • Lead and manage the full recruitment lifecycle for clinical and non-clinical roles across EHN Canada, including intake discussions, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer management, and pre-employment coordination.

  • Develop and execute proactive recruitment strategies for high-volume, specialized, and at times, hard-to-fill healthcare roles using multiple sourcing channels and targeted outreach strategies.

  • Maintain a positive and professional candidate experience through consistent communication, structured hiring processes, and fair and equitable recruitment practices.

  • Recruitment Operations & Compliance

  • Manage recruitment workflows within ATS, ADP Workforce Management, and related recruitment systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, compliance, and data integrity.

  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with provincial healthcare regulations, employment legislation, organizational policies, and Accreditation Canada requirements.

  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant recruitment documentation while supporting standardized recruitment processes across EHN Canada.

  • Hiring Partnership & Talent Pipeline Development

  • Partner with hiring managers, clinical leaders, and senior leadership to support recruitment priorities and operational hiring needs, while providing guidance on recruitment best practices, interview processes, hiring decisions, and equitable hiring practices aligned with organizational standards.

  • Develop and maintain proactive talent pipelines through strategic sourcing initiatives, including LinkedIn talent mapping, targeted outreach, and recruitment partnerships with colleges, universities, and external talent networks.

  • Act as a key point of contact for recruitment-related escalations, hiring challenges, and complex recruitment matters.

  • Metrics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, quality of hire, turnover trends, and recruitment effectiveness.

  • Provide regular recruitment reporting and workforce insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.

  • Identify recruitment trends, process gaps, and opportunities to improve hiring outcomes, operational efficiency, and candidate experience.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (CHRP/CHRL designation with HRPA registration considered an asset).
  • 5+ years of full cycle recruitment experience for clinical and non-clinical roles in unionized and non-unionized environments, with strong knowledge of employment legislation, healthcare compliance requirements, ATS platforms, and ADP Workforce Management.
