At Home Instead Richmond, we’re seeking Part-Time Home Support Workers to join our team—especially those who can support Cantonese-speaking clients while communicating clearly in English with our supervisors and completing training and documentation.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care (e.g., bathing, grooming, toileting, hygiene)
- Offer companionship and engagement, especially in Cantonese
- Support with light housekeeping, meal prep, and errands
- Provide transportation to appointments or outings (if applicable)
- Maintain clear, timely documentation using our Care App (WellSky) in English
What We’re Looking For
- Fluency in both Cantonese and English
- Minimum 6 months of professional caregiving or home support experience (senior care preferred)
- Comfortable with a flexible, variable schedule based on client needs
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is preferred
- Compassion, strong communication skills, and dependability
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- CPR/First Aid and Food Safe certifications are assets but not mandatory
Requirements
- Must live in or near Richmond, BC
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (Citizen, PR, or valid Work Permit)
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English for training, documentation, and team communication
- Must be available for part-time shifts of various lengths and times
