Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular property walkthroughs and inspections, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and completion of maintenance checklists.
- Oversee contractors and vendors (janitorial, landscaping, HVAC, snow removal, etc.), ensuring compliance with contract terms and reporting to Operations Manager.
- Supervise major on-site repairs (HVAC, roofing, paving), coordinate with tenants, and ensure quality completion.
- Manage building systems through Angus, scheduling and monitoring preventative maintenance, testing, and fire/life safety inspections.
- Address tenant needs promptly, including work requests, move-outs, and emergency/on-call responses, while maintaining clear communication.
- Perform minor repairs and upkeep such as lighting, painting, sign repairs, and graffiti removal.
- Support operational and sustainability initiatives, including budgeting, insurance/risk inspections, Eco Tracker surveys, and recordkeeping (keys, invoices, supplies).
Requirements:
- Previous experience within a maintenance position.
- Prior knowledge in janitorial.
- Supervisor experience is an asset
- Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
- Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.
- Must have a valid driver licence.
Must be able to pass Criminal Record Check.
