About the role

ONLINE SALES COORDINATOR

The Online Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting and growing the company’s online sales channels by coordinating product listings, managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and assisting with promotional campaigns. This role ensures a smooth customer experience from browsing to purchase while supporting the broader sales and marketing teams in achieving revenue goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the eCommerce team on all aspects of the online store, both plumbing and lighting
  • Promote and enhance the company’s e-commerce platform to drive engagement and sales with contract customers
  • Manage day-to-day online sales operations, including monitoring website orders, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring timely pickups
  • Work closely with internal teams to identify and implement opportunities for improving the online shopping experience
  • Support customer inquiries related to online orders, account access, and product availability
  • Assist in maintaining and updating online product listings, promotions, and digital content as needed
  • Provide feedback to the web development team on functionality issues or potential improvements
  • Other duties as required

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Upselling and cross selling abilities
  • Customer service and conflict resolution abilities
  • Strong understanding of online sales processes, order fulfillment, and customer support
  • Ability to analyze online sales data, track key metrics, and recommend process improvements
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn new tools and digital technologies
  • Understanding of logistics coordination for order deliveries and pickups

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in sales, e-commerce, or online customer service (B2B experience an asset)
  • Working knowledge of e-commerce platforms and basic web development or content management systems
  • Knowledge of inventory management or ERP systems connected to online sales
