About Studio Crevier Studio Crevier is a luxury residential interior design firm specializing in thoughtfully curated homes that blend timeless design with exceptional functionality. We manage every aspect of the design process from concept development through installation while delivering a seamless, highly personalized client experience. We are seeking a Procurement & Operations Manager who is exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. This role is responsible for managing the procurement lifecycle of furnishings, fixtures, and finishes (FF&F), while supporting operational systems that keep projects running efficiently.
Position Summary The Procurement & Operations Manager oversees purchasing, order management, logistics, vendor coordination, and project documentation for multiple residential design projects simultaneously. This person serves as the central point of communication between designers, vendors, receiving warehouses, and installation teams to ensure every item arrives accurately, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, anticipates challenges before they arise, and enjoys bringing structure to complex projects.
Key Responsibilities Procurement & Purchasing Prepare, issue, and manage purchase orders for all project furnishings, lighting, plumbing fixtures, accessories, textiles, artwork, and custom pieces. Verify pricing, quantities, finishes, dimensions, and specifications before orders are submitted. Review vendor acknowledgements for accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly. Coordinate deposits, balance payments, and vendor invoicing. Monitor production schedules and lead times. Maintain complete procurement records for every project. Vendor Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international vendors. Obtain quotations and pricing. Negotiate delivery schedules when appropriate. Follow up consistently on outstanding orders. Resolve shipping issues, damages, shortages, warranty claims, and backorders. Maintain an organized vendor database. Logistics & Installation Coordinate deliveries with receiving warehouses and freight companies. Schedule inspections and installations. Confirm all products are received, inspected, and approved before installation. Coordinate installation schedules with project managers, contractors, and clients. Track punch-list items until completion. Budget Management Monitor procurement budgets throughout each project. Track expenditures against approved budgets. Identify potential cost overruns early and communicate them to the design team. Prepare procurement summaries and financial reports as required. Project Administration Maintain accurate procurement schedules. Update project management software with current order status. Organize vendor documentation, specifications, warranties, and installation manuals. Ensure project files remain complete and organized. Operations Improve procurement workflows and internal systems. Develop standard operating procedures and documentation. Recommend efficiencies to improve project delivery. Assist with operational planning as the firm continues to grow.
Qualifications Required 5+ years of procurement experience within an interior design, architecture, furniture, millwork, or luxury residential environment. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong understanding of FF&F procurement. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication. High attention to detail. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace. Valid driver's licence. Reliable personal vehicle available for daily business use. Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken) is required. Preferred Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field. Experience with Studio Designer or Design Manager. Knowledge of Monday.com, Asana, or similar project management platforms. Familiarity with QuickBooks. Experience working with receiving warehouses and white-glove delivery services. Knowledge of custom furniture manufacturing and millwork production.
