Job Overview:
The Media Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and management of media campaigns across print, digital, broadcast, streaming, and OOH channels. This role ensures accurate order entry, campaign tracking, and media accounting within the Advantage system while collaborating closely with internal teams, clients, and media vendors. The Media Coordinator contributes to the seamless delivery of campaigns, helping True Media achieve client objectives efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with media buying and negotiation for print, digital, broadcast, streaming, and OOH campaigns for assigned clients. Accurately input and manage orders in the Advantage system.
- Maintain and verify blocking charts, ensuring alignment with Advantage orders and client MPAs or Purchase Orders.
- Coordinate campaign orders, revisions, and cancellations with media vendors; track confirmation receipts and resolve discrepancies. Confirm vendor contracts against orders.
- Support media accounting functions, including billing, reconciliation, and budget tracking. Assist in reviewing client billing and actualizing blocking charts when required.
- Maintain accurate time records in Advantage for all agency, client, and team-related assignments.
- Conduct research to support media plans and provide insights to strengthen campaign strategies.
- Assist in creating client-ready presentation decks as needed.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Measurable Goals:
- Ensure 100% accuracy in media order entry and blocking charts within Advantage system.
- Support on-time launch and execution of all campaigns, maintaining a minimum of 95% adherence to timelines.
- Ensure 100% compliance with internal reporting, billing, and documentation requirements.
- Demonstrate year-over-year improvement in campaign delivery efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in advertising, marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in media buying, campaign coordination, or an advertising agency environment.
- Familiarity with Advantage system or other media buying platforms is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
