Job Summary
Under supervision of the Operations Superintendent, Supply Chain Management, this position is responsible for operational procurement and inventory management, including inventory issues, replenishment, cycle counts, and inventory master data maintenance to support operational warehouse and storage areas.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support operational procurement activities while remaining aligned with Supply Chain Management (SCM) strategic goals and initiatives.
- Sourcing,quoting,purchasing,and expediting of operational goods and services within established policies and procedures.
- Proactively investigates and monitors quotes, orders, and other requests.
- Improve,maintain,and ensure proper storage and organization of inventory.
- Analyze inventory requirements utilizing reports and other information to optimize stock levels for improved efficiency.
- Perform cycle counts and other periodic reviews of stocked goods, investigate and reconcile discrepancies.
- Creates and maintains ERP Inventory master data.
- Provide leadership and oversight to Stores and Warehouse staff.
- Distribution and issuing of stock and non-stock materials.
- Inspect incoming materials verifying shipment quantities and for quality assurance.
- Record receipts in the ERP system, including scanning, maintaining, and completing of delivery documentation.
- Records and arranges for the disposal of surplus material and equipment.
- Assists accounting staff with purchase order invoicing, payment issues, and/or claims related to lost and damaged goods.
- Operate general material handling equipment,including forklifts.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education, Experience and Training Requirements:

Successful completion of a one-year Business certificate program from a post-secondary college or university.

Successful completion of the Supply Chain Canada’s Supply Management Training (SMT) Procurement and Operations Management courses.

2 to 4 years’ experience in a warehouse environment and inventory management.

Two years'related experience with an ERP/MRP replenishment system.
-
Possession of a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver’s license.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:
- Knowledge of inventory and warehouse management practices and standards.
- SAP experience an asset.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to prioritize, schedule,and plan time sensitive requirements in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Considerable analytical skills with ability to interpret and analyze data from multiple sources to make effective decisions.
- Skilled with Microsoft Suite (Word,Excel,Power point).
- Ability to source a wide variety of goods and services.
- Self-starter with ability to work alone and with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability using a systematic process for identifying root causes.
- Demonstrated ability in problem solving,developing,and implementing solutions.
- Ability to logically identify and respond to time sensitive priorities.
- Ability to complete WHMIS, TDG, and Forklift Certification.
Weekly Hours: 36.67
Salary Range: $65,191.44 to $71,873.04 CAD per annum (2025 rates)
