Lacombe Outreach School is seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and adaptable teacher to join our specialized team supporting our unique hybrid learning program for Grades 7-9. This program is designed to provide a flexible and supportive educational environment for students who face challenges in a traditional school setting.

Assignment:

• Full-time 1.0 FTE probationary teaching position
• Duties to commence August 26, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year

Qualifications:

• Experience working in an Outreach/Alternative school environment would be considered an asset

• Specific skill set in multiple grade levels and subjects

• Experience adapting and modifying student programming

• Passion for education and commitment to student success

• Assessment literate

• Ability to utilize varied instructional Strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs

• Ability to work independently is essential

• Ability to teach multiple grades and subjects simultaneously Ability to work as a part of a strong collaborative team

• Must have strong technology and 21st century learning skills

• Strong planning, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

• Strong classroom management skills

• Experience teaching in an online environment would be considered an asset

• Ability to build strong student relationships

• Experience working with diverse learners

• Commitment to ongoing professional growth
