ROCKWOOLis hiring aRegional Sales Manager, Western Canada.The territory for this position is British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Thunder Bay. The ideal candidate will be based in Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver with 35% overnight travel required.
This is an opportunity to lead a high-performing sales team and also play a key role in translating data into regional growth strategies, driving market expansion, and enhancing the customer experience through actionable insights. This role is ideal for a sales leader who combines commercial acumen, leadership capability, and data literacy—someone who thrives at the intersection of people, performance, and strategy. This position reports to the Director of Sales and has three direct reports.

What You Will Be Doing
Strategic Leadership & Market Growth
- Develop and execute a regional business plan aligned with national sales strategy and organizational objectives.
- Identify emerging market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities using data-driven insights.
- Partner with marketing, finance, and product teams to shape go-to-market strategies and optimize regional performance.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead, coach, and inspire a team of sales professionals to deliver sales targets and strengthen customer relationships.
- Foster a performance-driven culture based on accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Develop team capability in data interpretation, forecasting, and consultative selling.
Data-Driven Performance Management
- Leverage CRM and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, to analyze performance, track KPIs, and drive decision-making.
- Translate sales data into actionable insights to optimize territory coverage, pricing, and channel mix.
- Use predictive analytics to improve forecasting accuracy and optimize sales productivity.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key regional customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Represent the company in regional market activities, trade shows, and strategic customer reviews.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (marketing, operations, supply chain) to ensure customer excellence.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Identify and champion opportunities to digitize sales processes and enhance data utilization.
- Support implementation of new tools and dashboards that improve transparency and efficiency.
- Contribute to company-wide initiatives that transform the sales organization into a strategic, insight-led function.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field (MBA preferred). -5–10 years’ experience in sales leadership, preferably ina multi-region or B2Benvironment. -Strong expertise in the building materials sector and construction processes -Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans using data and analytics. -Demonstrated success leading teams through change and digital transformation. -Strong analytical mindsetwith experience using CRM and BI tools. -Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.

The base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $135,000. Your base salary is determined based on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions. This position is bonus eligible.
