Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Long Haul Flat Deck Truck Driver based in Abbotsford, BC. The primary responsibilities include safely operating flat deck trucks to transport goods over long distances, ensuring timely deliveries, securing and unloading cargo, and adhering to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The role requires ongoing maintenance checks, communication with dispatchers, and accurate documentation of routes and deliveries.

Qualifications

Valid CDL Class A license and demonstrated experience in Truck Driving Experience with unloading and securely handling flat deck cargo Knowledge of and compliance with DOT Regulations Ability to inspect, maintain, and operate trucks and related equipment responsibly Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently with a focus on safety and timeliness Current medical fitness certificate and clean driving record Experience with long-haul trucking or flat deck operations preferred
