####Yard Attendant

OurTimminsbranch is a busy, team-oriented facility within Battlefield Equipment Rentals that places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. TheYard Attendantposition is an important one for our business, ensuring that our equipment is ready and available as well as maintaining a flow of information on that equipment for both the rental staff and the sales staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Wage:$20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the shipping & receiving operations of the branch;
• Ensure all shipping documents are accurate and submitted;
• Responsible for yard, shop, & warehouse organization and cleanliness;
• Assist customers picking up and returning product;
• Assist with fleet drivers and outside carriers;
• General assessment of tools returned from rental;
• Maintain a safe working environment;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications

• The ability to provide various shipping and receiving duties in a busy, potentially stressful environment;
• Existing knowledge of construction equipment and building products, with hands-on experience in minor repairs and service/maintenance requirements for various types of construction equipment;
• Excellent paperwork and organizational skills, with an affinity for process management;
• Ability to work independently when required;
• Willingness to adapt to possible overtime hours;
• Good communication and people skills;

• Applicant must be able to perform heavy lifting, as heavy lifting will be required frequently;
