About the role

The Sales Administrator position is an essential member of the Sales Enablement team. In this position, the individual will leverage internal company systems and tools such as CRM, ERP, and G Suite to support the Sales team and assist them in meeting/exceeding their objectives. This position will be focused on supporting and maintaining customer information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and will act as the primary point of contact for Sales staff for CRM inquiries, assistance, and reporting needs as required.

In addition, the Sales Administrator will directly support the Vice-President of Sales & Marketing in various tasks and projects, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.

As a key member of the Sales Enablement team, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and ensuring our Sales organization can focus on strategic, customer-facing priorities.

What does the Sales Administrator do?

  • Manage and maintain sales tools and the CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including but not limited to preparing sales documents, proposals, and presentations.
  • Provide comprehensive executive administrative support to the VP of Sales & Marketing, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Generate sales reports and analysis, providing insights to support decision-making and strategy development.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to sales enablement projects, including tracking project timelines, coordinating meetings, and documenting project progress.
  • Assist in preparing and coordinating sales events, training workshops, and conferences to enable sales team engagement and effectiveness.
  • Perform general office duties as needed to support the overall functioning of the Sales Enablement Team.

What do you need?

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with sales technology such as CRM software, with the ability to serve as a super user or support resource.
  • Proven computer proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (G Suite), and the ability to quickly learn new applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate, analyze, and interpret data using tools such as Google Sheets, Excel (including intermediate formulas and analytical functions), and BI reporting platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare documents, presentations, and communications for broad internal audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in work output.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams or work groups, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Positive attitude, proactive approach, and willingness to learn and grow.
