The Building Operator II position is located in Ottawa, ON, and typically reports directly to the Facility Supervisor.
Work Shall Include But Is Not Limited To
- The design and implementation of custom control applications
- Troubleshoot BAS programming
- Provide BAS support network support as required
- Perform shift tours and log readings
- Start up/shut down major building equipment
- All water treatment duties
- Diesel, fire alarm, life safety tests
- Air balancing
- AHU maintenance and alignment
- Heat pump servicing and trouble shooting
- Alignment of pumps and couplings
- Minor repairs to pneumatic equipment
- All aspects of the heating ventilation and air conditioning systems.

Qualifications
- 4th or 3rd Class Operating Engineer certificate required.

Skills, Abilities And Other Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills in ensuring client requests are responded to professionally and promptly.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces and/or working at heights.
- Bending and lifting (under 30kg) required.
- Must obtain and maintain necessary security clearance.
