In this role, you will:

  • Develops marketing strategy for designated communities, as well as brand or multi-community campaigns and promotions as required.

  • Assists in applicable Marketing Technology Projects as required.

  • Manages the creative agency and digital partners to execute all marketing, communication and advertising strategies and initiatives for relevant projects.

  • Write creative briefs and project plans, to communicate business needs with our partners.

  • Manages new promotional projects and materials by working with partners and agencies to book ads, arrange ad creation, brochures, signage, web site, social media, and other digital extensions to ensure information is accurate, on time, and aligned with company brand and strategy.

  • Monitors competitor and market trends to ensure effective market positioning.

  • Responsible for defining customer target markets and personas related to demographics, psychographics, location, and product preferences, through various tools such as CRM, surveys, digital user information, and published data.

  • Ensures the creation of valuable and engaging content for the website, social and other digital channels, considering SEO and A/B testing opportunities.

  • Performs light graphic design production tasks such as updating header graphic images on emails or webpages, internal posters, adding/updating text on images, image re-sizing, etc.

  • Review, deploy, and monitor emails using Marketo as well as monitor email reporting and provide recommendations.

  • Collaboration with the sales team to ensure sales needs are met, and the sales perspective is taken into consideration in marketing strategy.

  • Supports sales and customer experience team with marketing collateral needs;

  • Manages project budgets & project schedules

  • Actively participates in industry associations to network, share experiences and acquire knowledge of industry standards and best practices;

  • Manages sales center renovations and repairs within designated communities.

  • Assists with the coordination between Sales, Warranty and some trades for sales center and model home maintenance and repairs, to ensure positive brand experience for customers.

  • Participation in the (Minto) CHEO Dream Home project as required.

  • Maintain effective internal communication to ensure all relevant company departments are kept informed of marketing activities.

  • Ongoing review and reporting of advertising performance and creative/channel effectiveness.

  • Works with internal teams to ensure organizational effectiveness and ongoing process improvements.

  • Processes all marketing invoices (from agencies and suppliers) and ensures payments are processed.

  • Coordinate events such as groundbreaking or sales events as required.

  • Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management.

We would like you to have:

Education: University Degree (Business, Marketing or Communication) or College Diploma (Marketing, journalism, business or related field)

Experience: A minimum of seven years – eight years of relevant work experience.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Access to a vehicle and valid G license (or equivalent)

  • In-office presence 4 or 5 days a week, with option of working from home on non-office day

  • Experience in residential development would be considered an asset

  • Experience with Salesforce and Marketo

  • Experience with Meta, Tik-Tok, & Google Ads

  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, etc.

  • Experience with advertising channels and campaign deployment

  • Advanced project management skills

  • Leadership skills, experience managing creative agencies, digital partners, etc.

  • Event management

  • Detailed focused

  • Proven analytical, research and report writing skills

  • Exceptional understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, recommendations, delegation, etc.)

  • Eager to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced marketing environment.

  • Demonstrates the ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards and paying attention to details.

  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple projects across various functions, adapting to shifting priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.

  • Strong logical, analytical, and quantitative skills.

  • Excellent ability to manage in-person and virtual team interactions and collaborative focused.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
