About the Department
The Canada and UK Marketing Team drives strategic marketing initiatives that support business growth across both regions. Collaborating closely with country and channel marketers and global teams, the department creates engaging, content tailored to local audiences. Team members benefit from a dynamic, inclusive culture and opportunities to contribute meaningfully to client success.
How You Will Add Value
Core Responsibilities
- Build content strategies with UK and Canadian marketers.
- Create content in formats like blogs, videos, and infographics.
- Align content plans with business priorities and campaigns.
- Develop distribution strategies using paid and owned channels.
- Ensure content meets local compliance standards.
- Localize and curate global content for regional use.
- Manage routing, translation, and production.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Oversee production and compliance reviews.
- Maintain content awareness across marketing and sales teams.
- Identify collaboration opportunities with global teams.
- Join editorial planning calls and represent UK and Canada.
- Track and report content performance metrics.
Team & Collaboration
- Support writing needs for emails, brochures, and executive communications.
What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role
Experience, Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s in communications or MBA
- 10+ years in asset management communications
- Experience working with portfolio managers
- Deep understanding of financial markets and products
- Familiarity with Canadian or UK asset management
Technical Skills
- Strong writing and editing abilities
- Skilled in video and infographic content creation
- Fluent in English; French is a plus
- Comfortable using AI tools for content and translation
- Knowledge of client journey mapping and analytics
Soft Skills
- Excellent project management and collaboration skills
Work Schedule & Location
- Location: Toronto
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (minimum 3 days/week in office)
