Production Forklift Operator | Continental Day Shifts
Location: 201 North Service Road, Burlington, Ontario

- Continental day shift schedule: 7 shifts across two weeks (182 working days per year compared to the traditional 260)

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Production Forklift Operator, you’ll play a key role in keeping production and distribution operations moving smoothly. You will:
- Load and unload trailers as assigned by the Distribution Supervisor or Warehouse Manager
- Sort and scan freight accurately
- Verify product codes and IDs, ensuring correct labeling and rotation of product
- Pick orders as assigned while maintaining proper product rotation
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift and pallet truck equipment, reporting any hazards immediately
- Communicate shipment discrepancies or errors promptly to supervisors or managers
- Follow all safety, food safety, and sanitation procedures while ensuring PPE is always worn
- Support production and warehouse teams as needed with miscellaneous tasks
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- High School Diploma (required)
- Previous forklift and pallet truck experience with current certification (required)
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Experience in the food industry (asset)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
WORKING CONDITIONS
This role is performed in a production and warehouse environment with a continental day shift schedule. The work involves physical activity including lifting, standing, and operating forklift equipment safely in a busy environment.
