The University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) invites applications for a tenure-stream position in Black Visual Culture at the rank of Assistant Professor, with an expected start date of July 1, 2024.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct research in the field of Black Visual Culture.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in relevant areas.
- Supervise student research and contribute to the academic community.
Required Qualifications
- A PhD in a relevant field.
- A strong record of research and publication.
- Evidence of teaching excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in interdisciplinary approaches to Black Visual Culture.
- Ability to contribute to the diversity of the academic community.
Other Relevant Details
- The successful candidate will be expected to engage in service to the university and the community.
