Description
The University of Calgary invites applications for temporary Administrative Support positions in various departments. Your key purpose is to provide temporary part-time or full-time, short‑term administrative support.
Job Details
- Duties will vary depending on the position and the department, and may include general reception, customer service, photocopying, filing, and/or data entry. As well, you may co‑ordinate and organise a variety of operations and services, schedule meetings, make travel arrangements, draft documents, and develop presentations using a variety of software programs.
- Accountabilities may include the ability to complete all work assigned in a thorough and accurate manner, manage your time effectively to carry out overall administrative support to the department, and maintain effective and productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 diploma supplemented with training and experience in an administrative role.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent typing and proof‑reading skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, Teams).
