Note: Internally this role is referred to as Manager TIS Demand Management What You Will Do
- Steward Demand Management Strategy and Framework: Develop, maintain, and evolve the demand management strategy and framework to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide business and technology objectives, leveraging industry-standard methodologies and repeatable processes.
- Enterprise Alignment and Roadmap Development: Lead joint planning sessions with business partners and TIS teams to create mid to long-term demand roadmaps that support both INC priorities and broader organizational strategies.
- Capability Modeling and Traceability: Maintain a demand management capability model, mapping business needs to resource capabilities and technology opportunities. Ensure traceability from demand intake through resource allocation and fulfillment, with metrics linked to strategic goals.
- Business Case Development and Innovation Enablement: Lead and/or support the development of business cases for major demand initiatives. Identify technology and resource gaps, collaborating with innovation teams to close gaps and enable new capabilities.
- Governance, Metrics, and Continuous Improvement: Implement and monitor governance processes for demand management, including the development and maintenance of dashboards and KPIs. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring process enhancements are aligned with organizational transformation goals.
- Resource Optimization and Cost Management: Oversee the identification, approval, and reporting of Shared Services resources, ensuring optimal allocation and alignment with business priorities. Manage cost tracking, allocation, and reporting for infrastructure, network, and cloud resources.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Influence: Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships across all TIS teams, business units, and external partners. Influence decision-making at all organizational levels to ensure demand management practices support enterprise objectives.
- Communication, Visualization, and Reporting: Deliver clear, actionable communication and visualizations of demand data, resource allocation, and performance metrics to stakeholders at all levels. Ensure timely and insightful reporting to drive strategic decision-making.
- Team Leadership and Development: Supervise and develop a team of demand specialists, providing coaching, guidance, and performance management to foster a high-performing, engaged team.
- Risk Management and Compliance: Manage and coordinate risk management processes related to demand management governance. Address non-compliance issues and ensure adherence to established frameworks and standards.
- Support for Organizational Transformation: Collaborate with transformation and change management teams to ensure demand management processes and improvements accelerate and support organizational transformation initiatives.
Who You Are Required:
- Minimum 8+ years’ related experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Post-secondary degree in a related subject area.
- Demonstrated experience in infrastructure, network, and cloud environments.
- Experience with cost management and reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI).
- Strong critical thinking and business insight.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior and executive stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to create visualizations for demand data and resource allocation.
- Excellent negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- ITIL Foundations certification.
- Experience leading business transformation initiatives.
Working Conditions
