Position Summary:
Reporting to the Manager of Business Planning & Analysis (BP&A), the Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) will play a key role in supporting the business through forward-looking analysis that drives strategic decision-making and company profitability. The SFA will contribute to the planning cycle, forecasting, and reporting of both financial and non-financial key performance indicators. The individual will be a champion of process improvements and will thrive in a cross functional environment. This role will have responsibility for the development and evaluation of` meaningful, high impact business cases in support of strategic decisions. The position offers significant visibility with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).

This is a hybrid role requiring you to be in office 2 days a week at our 320 Bay Street location (subject to change).
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to support the development of the annual budget and long-term, multi-year strategic planning.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and supporting materials for Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Board business reviews.
- Lead the development and management of quarterly forecasts, providing detailed analysis to support business partners and senior leadership.
- Design and maintain dashboards that highlight key business trends and performance metrics.
- Identify and implement process enhancements that increase efficiency, accuracy and scalability across the organization
- Deliver accurate, insightful, and executive-ready ad hoc analyses within tight deadlines.
- Proactively enhance existing reporting tools and develop new solutions to provide Senior Management with greater visibility into business performance and to support timely, data-driven decision-making.
- Monitor performance of the annual capital expenditure (CapEx) budget against actual results and produce forward-looking financial analyses.
- Leverage internal data sources to build and maintain efficient capital expenditure reporting tools for business partners across the organization.
What You Bring to the Team:
- 2+ years of financial/accounting work experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis focus
- Strong knowledge of internal controls and IFRS
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- High level of confidence and results oriented with ability to set realistic and attainable goals and meet those on time
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills including regular use of functions, pivot tables, etc.
