Work Hours : Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM

SUMMARY:

The Treasury Analyst is responsible for daily Treasury functions: cash management, corporate card management, and risk management.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

Cash Management

  • Perform regular/irregular payments (Wire/EFT/Cheque /EDI/Credit Card)
  • Support incoming & outgoing payments for accuracy
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of bank account, balance, and bank interface to Treasury systems
  • Ensure daily funding is available for outgoing operations
  • Daily reconciliation of bank transactions
  • Oversee Corporate Cash management
  • Analyze cash flow process to improve the accuracy
  • Monitor Aged transactions and payment rejections
  • Provide timely responses to internal/external payment inquiries and resolve any issues
  • Manage authorized signers and bank documentation for corporate bank accounts
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Maintain users on multiple merchant accounts
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies
  • Additional duties, as assigned

Corporate Card Management

  • Credit Card Administration (New/Renew/Termination, Temporary Card Limit Increase/Dispute, etc.)
  • Monitor outstanding card transactions & suspicious items
  • Manage T&E corporate card activity
  • Effective communication with employees for overdue & improper claims
  • Timely reconcile resigned employee accounts

Ad Hoc

  • Risk management projects for Treasury functions
  • Treasury regular/irregular reports
  • Aging monitoring
  • Updating current forms/policies and procedures
  • Assist Treasury manager with special projects as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :

  • University degree with specialization in Finance, Accounting or Business (preferred)
  • 1- 3 years of relevant work experience – Treasury management, Banking, Payment Administrator, Accounts Payable, Bookkeeping, Accounting
  • Intermediate-Advanced computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a high stress environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented individual who enjoys customer contact and is passionate about problem solving
  • Ability to multi-task with various competing priorities
  • High sense of security/confidentiality
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards
