About the role
Kelowna General Hospital (KGH) has a relief, part-time (0.65 FTE) Respiratory Therapist opening. This is a position that will provide coverage until return of incumbent. Shift times are Days or Nights from 07:00-19:15 and 19:00-07:15.

About the position:
Within a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment, Respiratory Therapists (RTs) deliver ongoing respiratory care to individuals facing various illnesses or conditions, spanning from acute to chronic cardio-respiratory ailments. Operating both autonomously and collaboratively within interdisciplinary team, your focus is on improving the quality of life for patients and their families. Respiratory Therapists are dedicated to continuous improvement and the adoption of best practices in respiratory care, while constantly advancing their own clinical proficiency. Additionally, they contribute to committees, teams, and approved research initiatives, further enriching their professional contribution to the field.

Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
Successful completion of the Health Professionals Testing Canada (HPTC) Credentialing Exam. Eligible for membership with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT).
Current valid BC Driver’s License.
