Overall Requirements

We are seeking a full-time Debug Supervisor to direct and lead our Debug personnel and activities to assure the repair of products that meet customer on time delivery and quality objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and Provide Leadership - Manage and provide leadership; including communication, training, coaching, timely performance feedback, recruitment, and employee development

  • Accomplish Production Plan – Work closely with planning and scheduling to monitor and assure the accomplishment of the debug output requirements for the various lines of business are achieved. Ensure products meet ISO 2015 specifications, and that standards and procedures are followed accordingly

  • Productivity, Efficiency and Continuous Improvement: Actively seek and recommend ways to improve products, equipment, tooling and process flows to increase overall quality, productivity, capacity, lead times and gross margins. Work closely with Engineering department to improve debug methods. Work with team to ensure individual and group targets are communicated and achieved. Lead continuous improvement activities to help identify and resolve inefficiencies though the use of Kata events

  • KPI and Reporting: Will be accountable for producing KPI and applicable reports to the group on a weekly / monthly basis, as required

  • Department support: Interface with various company departments to resolve process issues.

  • Train Personnel – Manage training and cross training of all technicians

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum five years of Electronics Production Supervision/Management experience is required, preferable in a technical role. Broad knowledge of telecom products considered a strong asset

  • Background as an experienced Electronics Technician/Technologist/Engineer in telecommunication or similar field preferred

Other Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)

  • Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, time management and documentation skills

  • Ability to multi-task and must be organized

  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing mix and volume of product prioritizing capacity as required.
