THE POSITION
The Corporate Partnership Specialist will support the development, activation, and renewal of corporate partnerships across the Calgary Sports and Entertainment portfolio. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service to partners, executing partnership assets, and identifying opportunities to drive value and results for both the partner and CSEC brands.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Partnership Activation & Fulfillment
- Execute and manage partnership deliverables across all CSEC properties (Calgary Flames, Calgary Wranglers, Calgary Stampeders, Calgary Hitmen, and Calgary Roughnecks).
- Coordinate the delivery of partnership assets including in-game signage, digital media, broadcast, promotional elements, community programs, and hospitality.
- Ensure all partnership activations are executed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
- Work closely with internal teams (Marketing, Game Presentation, Digital, Community, Ticketing, etc.) to fulfill sponsor commitments.
- Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for an assigned portfolio of corporate partners.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships to ensure partner satisfaction and long-term renewals.
- Conduct regular communication and partnership reviews with clients to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Reporting & Evaluation
- Track and report all partnership deliverables and activations.
- Develop post-campaign recaps highlighting key results, media value, and return on investment for partners.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records within CRM and partnership tracking systems.
- Business Development Support
- Support the Corporate Partnerships Sales team in preparing presentations and renewal strategies.
- Identify upsell opportunities through enhanced activations, new assets, or cross-property initiatives.
- Game Day & Event Support
- Attend and assist with the execution of game day and special event partnership activations (evenings and weekends required).
- Support hospitality and partner engagement events, ensuring exceptional client experiences.
- Collaboration & Team Contribution
- Collaborate with internal departments to create innovative partnership concepts and integrated marketing programs.
- Contribute to a positive, team oriented work environment consistent with CSEC’s values and culture of excellence.
- Other
- Actively participate in safety programs and follow policies.
- All other duties as assigned.
THE INDIVIDUAL
The ideal individual will have the following background:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, Communications, or related field.

2–4 years of experience in sponsorship, marketing, or client services (preferably in sports, entertainment, or media).

Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment with flexible hours.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is an asset.
