Job Title: Full Stack Software Developer Location: 222 Jarvis Street , Toronto , ON (5 Days Onsite) Duration: 12 Months (With Possible Extension) Client: Public Sector Pay Rate: CAD $85-$90 per hour
Must Have
This is a full stack role - with Python, .net, Restful APIs, NXTJS and Front end tools.
You have advanced proficiency in NextJS/ React.js (including NodeJS)
You have strong proficiency in modern Python development and a proven track record of designing and building RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
You have proven expertise with .NET Core Services/Web API, and C#
You have advanced knowledge of UI design, responsive design patterns and testable UI architecture.
Nice to have
3+ years of experience with relevant technology with ML models (area of computer vision)
Engineering Practices. Communication and Leadership:-
You are experienced senior member of development team, leading by example, taking ownership in design and delivery with strong track record for meeting deadlines You have proven experience establishing and applying best engineering practices and standards. You have experience working in Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban), collaborating closely with product managers, business analysts, and UX designers You are invested in coaching and mentoring staff and fostering a culture of technical excellence You have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Technical Expertise and Full-Stack Proficiency :-
This category assesses your hands-on software development ability, deep knowledge across the entire software stack, and your proficiency with our core development technologies.
You have advanced proficiency in NextJS/ React.js (including NodeJS)
You have strong proficiency in modern Python development and a proven track record of designing and building RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
You have proven expertise with .NET Core Services/Web API, and C#
You have advanced knowledge of UI design, responsive design patterns and testable UI architecture. You have strong understanding of Web Security, Public Security, 0Auth2.0, and JWT Authentication, and session management. You possess expert knowledge of MS Azure SQL Server including DB encryption, tuning, stored procedures, triggers, user-defined functions, jobs, and query optimization. You have experience with Cosmos DB, Redis cache and managed services. You are familiar with Azure Key Vault for secure storage management.
Strong knowledge of application packaging and container-based deployments
You have strong working knowledge of Azure DevOps tools You have demonstrated the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues throughout development, implementation, conversion and deployment.
AI/ML Expertise:-
You have direct experience with AI/ML development, deployment and integration. You have hands-on experience with model training using TensorFlow and PyTorch. You have experience in computer vision. You are proficient with OpenCV for image processing and computer vision tasks. You have experience with computer vision model training and evaluation, tuning hyperparameters and evaluating model performance using metrics such as accuracy, precision, detection, etc.
Architecture and Design:-
You have experience and understanding of modern, cloud-based architecture. You actively participate and own architecture and solution design and provide recommendations focused on the security, Web API, microservices, back-end and front-end layers You have proven experience architecting complex applications, optimizing performance, and managing state effectively You have strong experience in owning, designing and implementing reusable, and scalable components You have hands-on experience with software architecture principles and patterns such as serverless architecture, Microservices, RESTful APIs.
