As we scale globally, we need a world-class Chief of Staff to work directly with our CEO and help us operate at peak strategic capacity.

This isn’t a glorified admin role. It’s an executive force multiplier position—designed for someone obsessed with operational excellence, laser-focused prioritization, and enabling CEO effectiveness across legal, facilities, strategic ops, and investor engagement. You’ll orchestrate a seamless back-end infrastructure so our CEO can focus on big bets, bold moves, and breakthrough innovation.

🌟 What You’ll Do You’ll be the right hand to our CEO—filtering what gets his attention, implementing world-class systems, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.

  • Maximize CEO time: Implement a “Calendar Protection Strategy”. Free up 20% of strategic capacity using process, automation, and AI tools.
  • Own executive operations: From office uptime to travel logistics, you run the systems that keep global operations smooth.
  • Governance gold standard: Build and maintain flawless board reporting, regulatory filings, and shareholder and investor comms.
  • Run high-ROI projects: Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve productivity, reduce costs, and deliver measurable value. (eg: OKRs)
  • Be a high-trust gatekeeper: Triage inbound requests with speed and judgment . . . escalating only the critical few.
  • Embrace and apply AI: Use AI tools to streamline admin, boost accuracy, and gain operational leverage across everything you do.

About You

  • You’re an MBA, long time EA looking for more, or a former consultant with 3–6 years in high-performance environments.
  • You have strong project management chops, but love building systems, not just managing tasks.
  • You can think 10 steps ahead, communicate with gravitas, and hold your own in a room full of executives.
  • You have deep discretion, judgment, and resilience. You’ll handle urgent, sensitive, and high-impact matters daily.
  • You geek out on Confluence, SharePoint, Dashboards, and optimizing processes others don’t even notice.

  • Straightforward compensation. At Apera AI, we believe that transparency and fairness are key to building a thriving team. For this Chief of Staff role, we offer a competitive base salary range of 80,000 to 90,000 CAD and a Bonus of up to 10%.

This range reflects the base and bonus for a highly qualified candidate. The final offer will depend on a range of factors including your unique skills, experience, intellectual contributions to team diversity, and the value you bring to our vision of transforming industrial automation with AI-powered vision systems.
