Department of Internal Medicine/Anthropology
University of Manitoba
2 to 3-year term
Position # 33739

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Post-Doctoral Fellow to join our multidisciplinary group (medicine/health, anthropology, archaeology, Inuit, Dene and Cree communities). We will create opportunities for connecting youth with the Land, for decolonizing northern history, for empowering and building/sustaining capacity among the youth, and for instilling Indigenous sovereignty over the Land and the cultural heritage. The post-doctoral fellow will work with and train youth to document archaeological sites in the Churchill, MB area using a variety of methods.
